Lowe Park
Lowe Park, located at 4500 N. 10th Street, is a hidden gem located just a short drive from Uptown Marion.
Lowe Park is home to walking trails, a children’s discovery garden, complete with a playground and lily pond; a perfect place to bring the whole family. Visit the art gallery or consider the Lowe Park Arts and Environment Center for your facility rental needs.
The park is also home to the Klopfenstein Amphitheater for the Performing Arts which is used for various programs, community events, and private rentals.
If you like gardening, you can visit the Iowa State University Master Gardeners’ Demonstration Gardens. Or, head over to the Lowe Park community gardens and watch members tend to one of more than 60 garden plots.
The west half of the 180-acre park is accessed via 4901 Alburnett Road. The park offers eight baseball and softball diamonds. Parking is available in partnership with Linn-Mar Community Schools.
