2008 FLOOD GALA

We at City Revealed Magazine are anxious to aid our community after the flood of 2008. Many of us have
been touched in some way by the flood and we would like to do our part. In an effort to help the recovery and
rebuilding of our great city, we will be kicking off this holiday season by hosting a fun-filled, black-tie event at
the Cedar Rapids Marriott on November 21, 2008. THE 2008 FLOOD GALA will begin with a cocktail hour and
silent auction starting at 6 p.m., followed by dinner, raffle drawings, and the highlight of the evening, the first ever
local bachelor auction. We will end the night with live music and dancing. The net proceeds from this event will
assist the flood relief efforts of the Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation.

WE NEED YOUR HELP! We are counting on local individuals and area businesses to help make this event a
huge success, by purchasing tickets for the event, giving a one time tax-deductible monetary donation and/or
donating item(s) to be auctioned. Sponsorship for THE 2008 FLOOD GALA event is an opportunity to help out
those affected by the flood and to receive recognition for your generosity, which will go a long way to helping
rebuild our communities. There are a number of sponsorship opportunities available. We hope we can count on
you for a generous donation to go toward this effort. Please note that any donation amount is always welcome.

For those of you who are not familiar with our organization, City Revealed Magazine is a family owned, small
business. We provide a free, glossy, full color monthly magazine, focusing on finer living in the Cedar Rapids and
Iowa City corridor area. We work very hard to provide each issue with information about the, who, what, when
and where of this unique area in East Central Iowa. We feature…Greater home tours, local artists and musicians,
fine dining reviews, a wide variety of informative local articles, an Arts and Entertainment calendar, and Much,
Much, More!
